A letter from our new member educator
To my newest daughters of GPhi,
I want to give a huge wonderful welcome to the Epsilon Omicron Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta here at UC Santa Cruz. I am so excited that you have chosen our organization as a home of your own and I am here to teach you and be your guide in this amazing journey. Gamma Phi Beta means to me, and many other of our sisters, a lifetime of sisterhood and one of the most positive impacts of my life during the stressors of adulthood and college education.
I joined GPhi my fall quarter of freshman year before the pandemic, and even through being online, I have never felt so passionate and close to a group of women and all that they do for the community. Being from out of state, I felt very lost besides knowing I was here for school, but our college experience can be so much more than that! After only 2 years of being involved in this sisterhood, it really has become one of the dearest interests of my life and I plan to continue my passion for it after college.
I have felt so supported here by my friends and I wouldn’t trade this organization for any other experience. GPhi has helped me in so many ways through academics, support, sisterhood, belonging, and strong girls that I can rely on to do anything with me! Through each of my positions that I have held in this sorority, as well as helped others with, I have grown into a more confident leader, with skills I can use for the rest of my life because of the support of these women. Many sisters will gladly share their personal stories in this chapter because of how fun and empowering it has been. It is the most rewarding organization I could ever be a part of during college and I hope it provides the same home to you!
I hope you create amazing memories and have the best time with these strong women beside you! I give you all my love, friendship, and mentorship joining Gamma Phi Beta.

Epsilon Omicron's New Member Program is 8 weeks long and is designed to educate and inspire our new members about what it means to be in our sisterhood and about our sorority's history. Meetings take place once a week.
We are so proud to announce that in the 2021-2022 school year, Epsilon Omicron has added three new member classes of strong, beautiful, intelligent, and well-rounded women. We can not wait to see what they achieve in Gamma Phi, and we are excited for the Fall 2022 class!
