A letter from our President
Thanks for visiting the Epsilon Omicron chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at the University of California, Santa Cruz! It is my absolute pleasure to let you know a little bit more about our chapter and the incredibly empowered, bright, and wonderful women that make it up.
Santa Cruz is a unique place to live and learn, and the members of our chapter truly reflect that. Gamma Phi Beta is a place to learn, explore, and grow with amazing women by your side. Our mission is to aspire the highest type of womanhood within yourself and in your community. Every day I witness my sisters lifting each other up and challenging each other to be their best selves. Here, you will find a sense of belonging and lifelong friendships, a home for you at UC Santa Cruz.
Being a Gamma Phi means being connected to a nationwide network of sisters and alumnae who are committed to traditions of excellence, leadership, and love. In conjunction with our Greek community, University, local and grander community, Gamma Phi Beta is proud to build strong girls and represent strong women of character with everything we do.
I cannot imagine my college experience without Gamma Phi Beta. Entering college, I didn't anticipate joining Greek life, but because of the women I connected with and the Girls On The Run philanthropy they were involved in, I found myself unable to walk away. Since then, I have found a bond stronger than friendship. Gamma Phi has provided me with resources and offered me opportunities I never would have gotten access to otherwise. I can say without a doubt that this organization has helped shape me into the person I am today, and I continue to grow everyday because of its lessons and values.
I am truly humbled and oh so proud to stand alongside such an inspiring group of women! I hope to stand alongside you, too, soon.
